Lift Newlands is a special school and is proud to be part of Lift Schools, one of the largest networks of schools in England. It is a secondary school for boys aged 11 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Our main goal is to ensure that every student is provided the highest quality of education possible in a safe, supportive and caring learning environment. Working together as a team with our staff and parents, we are committed to helping each student achieve their very best. At Lift Newlands we have high expectations for all our students, learning is our core purpose and we provide all our students with a bespoke and relevant academic curriculum that is individualised to meet each student’s needs.
We are dedicated to providing opportunities for all students to develop a range of life skills and moral values that enable them to better their life chances.
Our trust is made up of 57 primary, secondary and special schools, educating more than 33,000 pupils across the country – from Middlesbrough in the north to Devon in the west, Essex in the east and the Isle of Wight in the south. The majority of our schools are rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.
